Standard Survey Screen Guide

The Standard Survey Screen asks a set of survey questions in a variety of formats including dropdowns, checklists, buttons, small textboxes, and comment boxes.

  • While MetroQuest’ s strength is collecting visitor input in a more structured and visual way, the Standard Survey Screen can be used to ask specific questions that don't fit in any other Screen.
  • This Screen should only be used as a fallback option when other Screens won't collect the data that is needed. Make sure to consider the other Screens before picking this one.
  • Instead of using checkboxes to let visitors select several items, consider using the Priority Ranking Screen instead.
  • If visitors are asked to pick between options, the Visual Preference Screen can be used to make Standard Survey questions more visual. Alternatively, it is possible to include preference questions on this Screen.
  • Questions are presented to visitors by topic. Each topic can include up to 8 questions
  • Optional to include a panel without questions to provide background information about the questions and/or your project or on the Screen. You can include an image or a video to make your Survey visually appealing.

  5. If topics are connected to priorities, you may need to provide content for up to 12 topics (96 questions)

Decisions you'll need to make:

  2. Whether each topic has questions or not
  3. The type of each question

Keys To Success

  • The Wrap Up Screen allows for a small set of general survey questions to be asked. If you do not have very many questions to ask, consider asking them on the Wrap Up Screen instead.
  • It is possible to link this Screen to a Priority Ranking Screen, so that you can collect additional input on up to 8 topics. Each participant will only provide input on their top 5.
  • When used with a Priority Ranking Screen, this Screen can ask for additional input on key project theme or topics.
