Edit Items on the Standard Survey Screen

1. Click on the item you want to edit.
2. Click on the icon to expand the items.
3. Click within the textbox to edit.
4. Select the Question Type. Please see different Question Types below.

 

Question Types:

Dropdown: Participants can choose one option.  

  • Answers: Click to Edit, Reorder, Remove and Add answers.
  • Select prompt: Click to edit the prompt. The default select prompt is set to “Select…”.

Textbox: Participants are asked to enter a short text response. Suitable for answers such as a zip code and email address.

  • Textbox Type: Select between textbox or a Zip/postal code. The Zip/postal code is character count is set depending on your subscription's home country.
  • Type prompt: Click to edit the prompt. The default select prompt is set to “Type…”.
  • Text Limit: The default limit is set to 50 which is plentiful for email addresses, the most common adjustment would pertain to zip codes.

Checklist: Participants can choose multiple options. You are able to restrict the number of options that the participant chooses. 

  • Answers: Click to Edit, Reorder, Remove and Add answers.
  • Checklist Limit: The default limit is set to 0, change this limit if you would like participants to only select one or more answers. 
  • Checklist style: Checklists can be displayed as inlinetwo columns or, one column.

Button: Participants can choose one option.  

  • Answers: Click to Edit, Reorder, Remove and Add answers.

Comment: Participants are asked to enter a longer text response. Suitable for questions that require a longer answer. (500-character limit)

  • Type prompt: Click to Edit the prompt. The default select prompt is set to “Type…”.

Organize Items on the Standard Survey Screen

1. Rearrange the items by hovering your cursor on top of the up and down arrows. Click and drag the items to its new location and release.

AddAdd a new item

DuplicateDuplicate an item and its contents.

SubtractRemove an item. Once deleted, this action cannot be undone.
